Austinâ€™s famous urban trail along the lake, the Butler hike-n-bike trail. This multi use trail circles around Lady Bird Lake and includes Austin's new over the water boardwalk. This ride is traffic free (i.e. no cars) and features many shaded areas. The tour distance is approximately 7.5 miles on mostly flat natural/paved services with a few small hills.

We had a very enjoyable two hour ride with Mike, who showed us around the parks and recreation areas of central Austin. We stopped often to take pictures and listen to Mike tell us interesting tidbits about each park and view of the City. Mike is knowledgeable about Austin and its recreation areas and he's also very friendly. The pace was perfect - not too fast, not too slow. I would recommend. (Thanks Mike!)

As far as bike tours go, this is the real deal! Mike not only provides a wonderful session of exercise, but knows Austin like the back of his hand. He is full of interesting and pertinent facts and details about the city and it's history. One learns more on this tour than you would had you lived here for an extended period. He can also point you in the right direction and make excellent suggestions for other interests and activities you may be pondering. An interesting dude with knowledge of the city like the back of his hand.

Mike knew a lot about the area and took us on a nice bike trip. It was real hot so make sure to bring along a bottle of water.

We enjoyed our bike ride around Barton Creek and Lady Bird Lake. It was just my husband and I and Mike our tour guide. He was super friendly, and knowledgeable of the entire area. He texted that morning with directions on where to meet up and was prompt and attentive to our biking needs. Our goal was to learn the history of the area while getting some exercise and both were accomplished. I would highly recommend taking this tour. Mike is a great guide and you can tell he enjoys what he does. The tour lasted about 2 hours 15 minutes an easy, fun, enjoyable ride.

We booked a bike tour with Mike as a team activity and can't recommend the tour enough. The team loved getting out and about, and seeing Austin. Mike was a great host - full of interesting trivia about Austin and the stunning nature the city has to offer. The tour itself was a couple of hours and perfect for a big group of mixed ability - not too challenging but I get the feeling if you were a sportier group he could also accommodate that too. Thanks for a lovely morning Mike!

Great! The tour was exactly what I wanted. Excellent views of the City of Austin and the beautiful Lady Bird Lake/ Colorado River. Mike was educational in his tour and I learned alot. Hot day, however trail is mostly shaded with shady areas and lots of trees. Kudos to Mike and his tour.
